Sibling Love

so i am looking at all these blogs on my sidebar feeling all the family love and seeing how siblings get along and are smiling in photos together and then...

in walks Zach saying, " Katie is a big - fat - stupid head." at moments like this a mom is so happy that her children love each other. so I shook my head took a deep breathe and have told them they need to play separately for awhile. for the most part they do get along and play well together... although i am sure this won't be the last unpleasant name uttered at our home.

Oh to sibling love...

City of Rocks

After being in Burley for five years we finally made it out to the City of Rocks.

His first little climb of the day.

The children thought is was AMAZING.
Trevor pondering of why he shouldn't just keep going up.

Trevor and Katie climb this hard spot together.
I love this photo.

Here are some pictures of our time in City of Rocks. It was fun to watch Trevor's eyes light up as he was able to climb some. He was the biggest kid of them all and almost could not control his longing to just go and climb. He did control it and help the children climb.
One stop we saw a chipmunk and a rabbit, the children LOVED that.
At first the children were a bit timid to climb on their own but by the end they were all climbing and trying things.
A great family outing and we shall not wait another five years to go again.

June 27, 2010 There will be more photos, I didn't want an overload...

It is always fun

when GRANDPA comes!
We had so much fun with Trevor's dad, Grandpa. He came and stayed with us for a few days, at the end of June, and we loved all of it. It was so nice to have him at our house and to get him all to ourselves.

We went out to eat, ate in (homemade pie and ravioli to name a few things), he played with the children and spent time with Trevor. Sunday we took a drive to the City of Rocks and it was a blast.

Here he is playing connect four with Katie.

Grandpa we miss you and can't wait to see you again! We all want you come on over for another visit when ever you want. We promise fun, laughter, hot apple pie and what ever else you want! (We still have to do the things that didn't get to be done due to Trevor being sick.)

WE LOVE YOU!
and crew!

Morgan is three

and she got to celebrate with blowing out candles three times.

We had a family birthday party for her, on the same day as Trevor's graduation celebration so family could be here. It was fun!
The second one was at JBs when we went to lunch with Grandpa. She got a candle in a little bowl of ice-cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream on top. It was her birthday meal out and they even brought her a plate of watermelon too. So spoiled.
Third we had cake the night of her birthday. With three candles and it took all three to blow them out. Morgan had already tried a few times by herself and then Zach and Katie couldn't resist helping to blow out the candles.
So as she turned three she got three chances to blow out a candle. How fun!!!

Being a Dad

of a few girls sometimes you get to be a good sport.

Katie did Trevor's hair one Sunday afternoon. She loved it! and was laughing and enjoy doing this to her dad.

He was such a good sport that when she told him he couldn't take them off until he was home from his Elders Quorum Presidency meeting he didn't.
Gotta love a man with flowers in his hair.

Morgan just laughed at Dad with his hair pretties.

1st...

POPSICLE!

and he loved every bite. I moved him outside to with Zach and Morgan so he could drip away.
I have found with Jason that he seems to get things soon than the others did, guess it just goes to show that the youngest is spoiled even if you try not to.
