Odds and ends!

Zach loves ropes... I had to take a picture of him swinging this one, he insisted!

We got a huge bag of hair things from a cousin and Katie went to town. She did her hair, Morgans hair and even the dogs. It kept them busy for an hour...

Doing Art
one morning I just pulled out the paints and the children painted they had a lot of fun. It was Morgan's first time to paint with water colors.

(yes this was a school day, I just let Morgan wear her p.j.s all day... that is just the kind of mom I am. we just have p.j. days some times.)

It is for REAL

Okay, at my first doctors appointment last Friday I was able to hear the HEART BEAT. So it is for real, I am really pregnant and there is a baby on the way. As of today I am 11 weeks along. My official due date is Sept. 16, 2009. I am feeling better. I do feel the best in the morning but if I have my mint gum and something to do I do pretty good all day. I still just like my quiet time/ nap in the afternoon. The Heart Beat was beating at 165, which is good. So here we come Sept. 16th... which will not get here fast enough -yet to soon.

Just like her Bushka

Morgan turned down every snack I offered her. When she heard the rattle of a chip bag she was in the kitchen asking for some. She carried her little bowl around and loved every bite. We had to refill a few times too. She loves the salt more than the sugar just like her Bushka.

Laundry Party

Today is our laundry party day! I finally got my new front loading washer and dryer this past weekend. We bought them the day after Thanksgiving on a mega sale and they finally came in. I have been out of town and so today is laundry day. I can't wait to see how many more clothes fit in and all the different settings. We have had the basic three cycle washer and one setting dryer that were my Grandma's. So today there will be no complaining about the laundry.
Let the fun begin.

Our trip to Boise

So we went to Boise this weekend. I, of course, forgot my camera...so no pictures but lots of fun. Friday we had dinner with Trevor's youngest Brother, Bobby, and his family. The children had fun running all over the place and didn't want to stop. Julee and I chatted the entire time and Bob(by) did school work.
Saturday we woke up got everyone ready and headed to the mall. Dillard's, C.J. Banks's, Build a Bear, food court, JcPenney's and then the Disney store where all stops. We ran into Grandma Sara and Aunt Stephanie and girls in the food court, which was fun to get a quick visit with them. After the mall My mom, myself and the children plus Katie Dougal went to the children's play place Rafiki and had a ball. The adults could sit and visit while watching the children. It is the perfect set up for all. Then we went back to the house for dinner and the evening.
Sunday was breakfast at Grandma Sara's. Zach said her house was "Awesome... totally" when I asked if they had a really good time. Then off the church with my parents. Morgan and I went home early because she decided to blow out of her diaper and get it everywhere. She went home in a diaper, her little sweater and shoes. Don't worry she was wrapped in a blanket to keep warm. The rest of the day was spent just hanging out. The children had a dance party, we did cake and ice cream for my mom's birthday, and they had a really long story with Bushka.
Monday we got up and played for awhile. Got all packed up, hit a play land so the children could play for a little bit and then hit the road for home.
I love seeing family and the memories we build. We can never have enough!

I am tagging the first 10 people on my blog list list. good luck...

Super Bowl Sunday

Well- Trevor normally loves to have a huge crowd for the super bowl over but ... this year due to the house and me, we only had two extra people here, Virgil and his nephew, Tyson. It was a really nice and relaxing game. We have yummy fried pizzas, little smokies, carrots, chips, soda, grapes, pineapple and cottage cheese, candy and then seconds on everything of course. I have to say that the commercials were okay, only a few really funny ones but at least there were a few this year. The children played on the computer, ate, watched a movie on my bed and just hung out. I think they consumed almost a whole bag of chips but hey it was the super bowl - aren't you suppose to eat to much horrible food. Our friend Connie and her crew stopped by after the game to rub it in that the Steelers won, we were going for the underdog. After this year I think we will stick to the smaller crowds for Super Bowl Sunday, it was just so quiet, calm and relaxing for me to do it any other way. We are just grateful it was a good game and not a boring Super Bowl blow out. Good games make the outcome not so important, especially if the team you want to win doesn't. :)
okay- some of you will be wondering what a fried pizza is. It is like a scone with pizza in the middle ... two of my favorite things. I had these growing up and just love them! They are like calzonies but with the sauce in them and you fry them instead of baking them. They are a heart attack waiting to happen but worth it in every bite!
