Trevor is finally done!

Trevor has finished his masters degree, we had only been waiting for four years for June 18th to come. He is officially done with school and I couldn't be happier. He has accomplished so much with such dedication. I am so proud of my husband. He also finished with honors, not bad for a boy who was told he wouldn't amount to much. I guess if you consider a Masters degree not much, then they were correct. Other wise... some people.

Thank you Trevor for fighting, enduring, typing, and making it through the last four years for us. You are an amazingly remarkable man and I am glad you are mine.

We are having an open house this Saturday at our home from 3-5 p.m. and you are all invited! Come celebrate with us!!!!!!!!!!

Our day in Utah

We got to Utah in the afternoon so I took the children to the Airplane museum by Hill Air Force Base for a few hours. Trevor and they guys were off golfing, of course, and Jason was back at the house with Bushka. The children really enjoyed it. Katie bumped her head on one of the propellers because she say a bee but other than that it was a lot of fun. There were a jets flying in the sky and the children counted them, 11 in all. I am sure there were some repeats of planes but not to the children they were all different ones. I learned that I really don't know very much about airplanes. We are going to have to go again... it was so enjoyable.

Garrett got his Eagle Scout Award and we couldn't be prouder of him. He continues to set a wonderful example for our boys to look up to and follow. It was a fun night and the children LOVED the eagle. They had to keep going to check it out before the ceremony and were sad when it left. There was a presentation of a flag to Garrett, the grandpa's gave a few words, and then the eagle scout process. It was a fabulous night and I am so glad we got to share it with him. Congrats Garrett, glad you are not an eaglet anymore!!!

end of the year - Zach

Here is Zach at his end of the year program. Every child gets a speaking part, some get to sing solos and they all get to sing and do actions to songs they have learned over the year. Zach got the part of the nursery rhyme, Jack be Nimble Jack be quick. He did a splendid job, we could understand him and he was so cute doing it too. It was on the last day of school for him and what a way to finish.

I can't believe he will be in Kindergarten next year and six in October. My little boy is growing up so fast. I am not sure where all the time has gone but I sure want to enjoy the time I do have with my Zach.

Jason 8 mo.

He is a wonderful boy. He still loves to eat, jump in his jumper, play with the children and be outside. I can't wait for the weather to be consistently nice so he can be outside... He LOVES and I mean LOVES it.

End of 2nd grade - Katie

At the end of the year they have a talent show for each grade. This year Katie wanted to do a talent. She played a piano piece she had learned this year in piano. She did a great job.

At the end of the year they also have field day. To rap up the day they had a relay race between the five 2nd grade classes. Katie's class had had a race to find the fastest children in the class. They then had to vote from the top whatever amount to pick their runners. Katie was voted in, each team had two girls and two boys. She was the first leg and the last leg runner for her team. She of course did a great job and they came in third, my favorite number. It was fun to watch my little girl sprint down the lane running faster than I, probably ever, have in my life. She runs like her dad. She had fun and was glad she got to do it.

I love my Katie girl and can not believe she is going to be in third grade this coming fall. That is the time I moved to Idaho... oh to life.
