She was just so cute that I had to grab a picture. She even put the items on herself, shoes and all.
Katie's ribbons from the fair. Every child who enters an item gets a white ribbon but only one red (2nd place) and one blue (first place) ribbons are given out. The white ribbon gets rewarded a dollar and the red two dollars. Katie did a great job and that is two years in a row that she got a red ribbon. We will just have to see what next year brings.
When putting her money in her pocket she dropped a dollar and didn't realize it. We were walking to the car when two children ran up to her and asked if she had dropped it. She got her money out of her pocket and only had two dollars, so she had dropped it. We thanked the children and went on our way. I am glad that their are still honest people in the world and parents that are teaching the value to their children. It was a great lesson on being honest and I love it when life gives us those chances to teach them.
that all is well. I am the same as last week just a week farther along. The heart beat was 160. I am glad all was the same as last week. I am just not quite ready to have this child. After September 1 we are good to go, so next week I can be ready to have a baby. :)
Katie's first day of second grade was wonderful. I took her to school, per her request. Did the normal drop off in the morning routine. Her biggest concern of the morning was that she had a cold lunch and that she got to school in time to play with her friends. She was out of the car with an I love you, have a good day and I'll meet you at the bus stop after school. Her day was wonderful! She got off the bus as happy as could be and just went on and on about all the wonderful things that happened at school. No homework, made a new friend, played with old friends, had a birthday in her class and got an otterpop, played heads up seven up, got to go to P.E., and has a nice teacher. She had to call all the grandparents and tell them about her day. I am so glad that she had such a wonderful day. It sure makes it easier on me to send her off to school when she loves it so much!
Today during lunch Trevor and I went over my list of 20+ names for this little boy. We came up with a list of 5 that we can both agree on. They are not in any particular order and only time will tell which one it will be. ___ Edward Irish.

the baby's heart beat was 164 today, he was awake and moving this week. Everything is just fine. I got to have an exam, one of the best part of being pregnant, not. I actually had good news. Normal it is nothing yet but today... I was totally shocked! I am dialated to a 1 1/2, effaced 50% and the baby's head is a stage 3 for heading down and out. (I am guessing a 10 is out, ;b) So I have another appointment in a week and a half (next Thursday) and we will see what that brings. I am still trying not to get my hopes up for an early delivery but with news like that... there just might be hope!
As for a name... still undecided! Something Edward Irish. Trevor and I did talk last night and we are coming up with a smaller list but... still no name. Trevor even had a few names he liked and came up with himself and I didn't despise them, so we will see! Funny though because a few of the names he liked are all ready used in my family: Jeff and Garrett.

with Katie I effaced but didn't really dialate. induced one day late.
with Zach I dialated a little but didn't really efface, 5 days early.
with Morgan I did a little of each at the very end. induced on due date.

Last night was the kids free night at the RODEO. So, the children and I loaded up and went for a night of bucking fun. They wait all year for the rodeo to come, it is so fun to watch them get excited for it. I love a good rodeo myself, so I understand the excitement. We sat with Kami Millward and her family, thank you, thank you, thank you! The weather was perfect, the atmosphere fun and the cowboys excellent. It was Morgan's first rodeo and she loved it. She wanted to go and ride the cows, run with the children when they chased some "little cows" for a chance to pull the ribbon off their tail and win a prise, and loved the horses. She would make kissing sounds at the horses and just loved them. Morgan even got to wear her first pair of cowgirl boots last night. Katie and Zach liked it all. When asked their favorite part the response was,"All of it!" Although, I really do think Zach loves the bull riding the best. It is a fun night and I love taking the children... I remember going with my parents and loving it and want to pass that along. I mean really, how can you be in Idaho and not go to a rodeo.
out takes: Zach told me to stop yelling... he said, "stop doing that, I am trying to watch over here." He also told Kevin not to step on his cotton candy and that we wouldn't ride a horse like that. Totally cracked us up.
Morgan would dance to the music only stopping when the horses got close to us. She even sat with Kevin and Kami... and loved playing with Kevin's sunglasses. At one point she even riped a wipe in two and looked like a little cheerleader with it, whacking all the children around her.
Katie, towards the end, went down to the fence so she would be close the horses that were right in front of us. When the children were getting ready to go out to chase the "little cows" she lend back and said, "I don't have to do it do I?". (smart girl)
I have been on a kick to get things cleaned out and uncluttered, always a challenge for me. I have made progress on the basement storeroom, you can walk in it now. This past Saturday we cleaned out Zach's room and got rid of a lot of things and put some toys away to pull out later, when a new something is needed. He now only has three draws to clean up his toys into instead of six, so much easier! The girls room is finally all but done... everything has a tub, basket and place. We just need to get a few things hung up in the small play closet and they are good to go. Zach needs art work on the wall and then he is done too. Now just the computer hutch, kitchen counter and my room, the black hole... they are all on the list to work on this week.
Now I just need to get all the stuff for D.I. out of my house.

I decided to enter two pictures in, with no intention of getting awarded anything but just to do it. This way I can say I entered something into a county fair.

She took a few more pictures today... we will have to post them. One was really interesting of a bird on the wire in the back yard. If nothing else she has had a lot of fun taking the pictures. Next year Zach will be old enough,5 and he can't wait.
that everything looks great. The baby's heart beat was at 136. I have another appointment in two weeks, they will be doing the strep b test and such. I just love those exams, not. My iron was fine, blood pressure great and just having a "normal" run at it. Only 6 weeks and one day to go till we hit the due date, Sept. 16th. It will be here before I know it!!! He has been moving like crazy lately. There was one night I couldn't sleep because he was having a dance party in my stomach. I have found that when the temperature is cooler he moves and when I am hot he is pretty calm. I am just getting to the point where I can't wait to hold him in my arms.
