Life!

So I have decided that if my career choice for right now is to stay at home then I need to treat it as job. Well that is for the day to day things that are not my favorite - the cleaning. I really would love to hire a maid, housekeeper, organizer.... but for now we have me. So I am trying to do better and get the job done. Today is laundry tuesday and I decided to clean out the hutch in the living room so we can move it to the entry way - pray for me. It is a bigger job than I thought. Where is that organizer when I need her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Trip to Boise!

Our trip to Boise was WONDERFUL! The bad part was we didn't have enough time and I forgot to get some pictures.... I seem to do that with visits.
On Thursday (Nov. 6th)
we got to spend the night at Trevor's sisters house,(Stephanie and Shane) and had a great time. Dinner, scrapbook page exchange with Julee and Steph., while their guys watched the children. Grandma Sara was there and my children were so glad to see her. Then it was bed time. Zach got to sleep on the couch, which he loved, and Lily and Katie slept in the toy room. Other cousins: Jessica had already fallen asleep in her bed and Braden had to go home.
On FRIDAY (Nov. 7th)
We got up played, had breakfast, played some more then travel on to Jennifer's parents, Bushka and Papa's. We had lunch, picked up Katie's friend Katie D., went to Madagascar 2, came home, the children swam in the hot tub, ate dinner, played. After dinner my mom and I ran to the fabric store then home to get every one ready for bed and tucked in. My mom always tells the children an interactive story with them as the main characters and they love it. Then my mom and I ran to target. It was off to bed after planning the next day.

On Saturday (Nov. 8th)

We got up, Katie and Zach got to make their own box of blueberry muffins for every one to have for breakfast. We also had bacon-yummy. Then after the children were ready for the day, Katie D. came over to play with Katie. My mom and I took the other two children to the fabric store and purchased the desired fabric to finish my bed spread. Stopped by the dollar store to get the yummy bread then headed home for lunch. Fed everyone lunch and then just hung out. I had a horrible head ache so just enjoyed some down time. Had a visit with G.G. ...
Then we were off to go back to Stephanie and Shane's house for a birthday celebration for Grandma Sara. It was a ton of fun. The cousins running all over the place, a yummy dinner, fun new cake recipe(chocolate of course), and fun games. And--- Morgan took her first step with out being asked to by mom or any one else. Uncle Shane and myself got to witness the wonderful event.

We got to met our new niece, the newest cousin finally on this trip and she is a cutie!!! Morgan loved to pull pacifiers out of Mylie's and Violets mouths. She hasn't ever taken one so they are a fun toy and something new...

Here is Morgan and Violet. They are less than a month apart in age and it is so much fun to watch them together. It will be nice when they finally get to the stage in life where they actually play... only about 2 1/2 - 3 years to go.

On Sunday (nov. 9th)

We went to Church with my parents where my Dad was announced he was going to be released as the Bishop of the Cloverdale ward. We got the hear my Mom and Dad's testimonies, which I love to hear. They were having a major ward/stake boundary change at a meeting that afternoon. At the meeting he was released and then put in as the Bishop of the Ustick ward, in another stake. Proud you are worth to be a Bishop, Dad! Good luck with the new ward and stake, you are in our prayers! After church we had lunch, played the wii for a little bit with everyone and then headed home. All of the chilren slept on the way home - yeah for mom! Got home had cereal for dinner, played with Dad, then off to bed to start our "normal" week here in Burley.

side note: We all missed Trevor on the trip but he was home working on School (good old projects) so he can come with us Thanksgiving weekend and have some fun. (not have to do school work the entire time)

Yeap- this was the 80's

Okay so here is a picture of my and our exchange student, like a sister, Annamaria in McCall for the winter festival probably 1988(I still have braces so I am thinking I would have been in the 8th grade). I particularly love the boots and the hair. It was a decade of tight tapered pants and BIG hair.

YOU HAVE TO LOVE THE 80'S!

-Zach a spider-

-Katie a cat-

-Morgan a four tooth'er-

We all carved the pumkins together, Halloween after school.
It was fun and the children always love them glowing.

Halloween Constumes

A DOG, A CHICK and a WITCH!
A few weeks back we had gotten every ones costumes picked out. Katie was going to be a bunny, Zach was going to be a pirate and Morgan a chick. As you can see Katie was a witch, Zach a dog and Morgan a chick. Katie was a bunny for her school party but then wanted to be something different and this is what she came up with herself- very creative. We found the dog costume when gathering up the bunny items and Zach had to be it because it barked. He barely fit in it but he was happy. Morgan was just happy as a chick and seemed to know she was dressed up and everyone thought she was adorable.

A SKUNK AND A SUPER HERO
Trevor was an Irish Super Hero and Jennifer was a skunk. It was just to perfect for me to be a skunk because my hair was brown and white already. I even dressed up to help with Katie's Halloween Party at her school and everyone loved my skunk attire. Hey, you just have to play up what the good Lord gave ya - mine is my hair......
Halloween is fun because everyone gets to dress up and be something
you can't normally be.
(Well except me, I get to wear my head piece for a while longer :o )
