Being a Dad

of a few girls sometimes you get to be a good sport.

Katie did Trevor's hair one Sunday afternoon. She loved it! and was laughing and enjoy doing this to her dad.

He was such a good sport that when she told him he couldn't take them off until he was home from his Elders Quorum Presidency meeting he didn't.
Gotta love a man with flowers in his hair.

Morgan just laughed at Dad with his hair pretties.

1st...

POPSICLE!

and he loved every bite. I moved him outside to with Zach and Morgan so he could drip away.
I have found with Jason that he seems to get things soon than the others did, guess it just goes to show that the youngest is spoiled even if you try not to.

Guilt

I have not even been able to open up Irish glam since my last post because of guilt. Guilt that I have been a horrible blogger lately and have not kept up on the happenings of the summer. The full blog of each event will come later but for now a quick list and updates... :) ... so the guilt will dissipate for awhile.

June--- Trevor finished school, Trevor's dad came for a visit, we had a graduation celebration, went to the City of Rocks, Morgan turned 3.

July- celebrated our 11 year anniversary, had a fourth BBQ and fireworks with friends, went to Boise, saw twilight Eclipse with friends, getting ready to go camping with family.

The children= Katie and Zach have been in swimming lessons. Morgan loves the little pool. Jason has two teeth, drinks from a sippy cup and is starting to crawl.

We have loved Trevor being done with school... we LOVE all of the family fun we have been having. Bike rides, swimming, outside fun, projects and laughing... lots of laughing.

11 years and counting!

...us 11 years ago...
Trevor and I have been married 11 years today... I can't believe it. The time has gone by so quickly that I am amazed that 11 has passed. I was thinking of the major things that have happened in our lives since July 2, 1999.
...Went to Mexico, Trevor started his bachelor degree, had Katie, Trevor received his bachelor degree, had Zachary, Trevor got a job with Deseret Industries, bought our first home, moved to Burley, Trevor started his masters degree, Trevor changed jobs to A+ solutions, had Morgan, Trevor changed jobs then back again, had Jason, Trevor finished his masters degree. We also remodeled 80 percent of our home in Burley during that time...

I am so happy that I have Trevor. Trevor always says he is a internationally known super star/hero and I do have to agree. He is all of those because he some how loves me through all of me being me. Thank you Trevor for being my husband for loving me and for letting me love you. I can't wait to see what the next 11, 15, 20, 25, 45, 60+ years bring. I am sure it will be full of adventure, fun, laughter, a few mouthy moments, love, enjoyment, trips, family and us. Bring them on because I can't wait!

9 Months old

Jason is such a joy. Happy almost all of the time makes the days wonderful. If he is feed, slept and around the children playing he is happy. He got his first tooth, his bottom right one. He is starting to pull himself up on things. He clapped his first clap. He is starting to ease into the crawling position, with the rocking back and forth they do before they crawl. He can drink from a cup if some else is holding it, water bottle too. He had his first french fry.

I love that he snuggles into my shoulder, headbutts, and every once in a while gives kisses. He loves his dad and about jumps out of my arms to get him as soon as he sees him. He enjoys his siblings even when Morgan is pulling, I mean playing with him, and during her thousands of kisses and hugs. He still even loves Zach, though Zach has tried to carry him a few times and it has landed Jason on his head every time. He loves his Katie... she is the biggest helper and best biggest sister. She hauls him around, plays with him, feeds him, reads to him, plays her ds with him and what ever else she can do with him.

He completes our family and brings such joy. What was life like with our Jason???
