Trevor's Graduation Celebration

June 26, 2010

This is the Graduate, Trevor James.
He is a remarkable man. One who has over come obstacle after obstacle to get here. He is someone to be looked up too, loved and to be so very PROUD of.
We love you and are soooooo happy your are done with your Masters degree!!!
!WOOOOO HOOOOO!
The celebration began...

Trevor is waiting to walk in. He didn't have to wear a cap and gown but we (I should say I) made him march in. We started with the traditional graduation march but then I said," We all know this isn't Trevor" and I put on the superman theme. Hence... he is our superman!

The audience(in the hot hot sun)

We had three speakers...
The Mom, The Dad and the Dad-in-law

They spoke on Trevor growing up, the obstacles he faced, how he over came them, college times and how they are all so very proud and a little shocked. :)

Trevor thanking Virgil

Virgil was a marriage saver. He proofed all of of Trevor's papers, could help with ideas and was just there for Trevor during it all. Trevor is giving a tribute to Virgil and presenting him with an honorary degree and a few thank you gifts. Oh what would we have done with out Virgil???
!!! THANK YOU VIRGIL !!!

The mom-in-law did a candy bar poster.

They each got to give their Dad several candy bars. They loved it and couldn't wait for their dad to share the candy!

This is the reason for the degree. Oh... the love they have for each other.
The Degree... well

The children presented him with a degree, homemade until the real one came in the mail.
Trevor getting his lays from his brother.

The Irish family
It was a perfect day. Thank you everyone who helped make it special.

So this is the man I love, the one with his Masters degree.

He is full of strength, a finisher, driven, and dedicated.
And to think he did it for me and our children. Thank you Trev for doing all you have done for us, we appreciate it and you.
We are so very PROUD of you. Always have been, always will!
