Easter Saturday- Bushka

This is my mom. She is one of my best friends, always has been.
Titles I have assigned to her:
Mom -Friend -Bushka (grandma) -Mary Poppins(because she seems practically perfect)
Listener- Cheerleader -Party Planner -Spoiler
She always wanted to be a Grandma and it shows. She loves it even when they climb all over her, elbow her, follow her around every where or what ever else they may do.
Thank you Mom for all that you do!!!

Easter Saturday

On Saturday they woke up to their Easter buckets. They got new pajamas, sunglasses, glow sticks, other fun stuff and candy. It is always fun to watch them see their bucket for the first time and dig through the stuff. It is one of the many joys of being a child.

Later that day we did the rest of the Easter fluff, which will come in the next couple of posts. By doing the fluff on Saturday we reserve Sunday for the Savior. On Sunday we talk about the real reason and purpose for Eater. It just works for us that way.

Jason on Easter Saturday

He didn't get an Easter bucket but he got these cute pajamas... doesn't he look like he really cares about the whole thing!!! hahaha

Easter Sunglasses

Every year the children get Easter sunglasses...

Jason is still to small for them... but next year I am sure he will get some in his Easter bucket.

Katie's 8th b-day party

Katie planned a super fun girly party. Making hair flowers, jewelry, painting their fingernails, and decorating thier own individual cake. They did all of their projects then we ate pizza, opened presents, ate the cakes, had ice-cream and sent them home. It was two hours of 7-8 year old girls being crazy and having fun. Katie had a wonderful time and loved it... oh what will she plan next year??? If you noticed there are not 8 candles on the cake, there just wasn't room.

My mom also played a hand game. Thanks mom... it helped fill a few minutes.

opening of presents...

I love parties, I love watching my children have fun with friends, I love that she planned it.

Birthday, Katie

We had our family dinner out for Katie's birthday. She picked Upper Crust so she could wear the cheese hat and get the cream and brownies. Then we went home for presents. Zach decorated the top of the box his present was in.

Getting presents is easy, picked out what to give is HARD. She got a watch, bike, markers, microphone headset and a birthday party.

We are also grateful that Katie's birthday, conference weekend and Easter were all on the same weekend so Bushka and Papa could be here with us!
