Reunion - Sunday

We went to Church, Trent left for Idaho Falls, the children made balloon animals, painted pictures for Jessica's room, ate, relaxed and the little ones took naps. After naps and dinner we got the cousin shirts on and took some pictures.
-COUSIN PICTURES-
First the whole group(minus Morgan in the circle picture)

The Big girls-Brittany and Hailey

Little girls- Grace and Morgan

The Boys-Garrett, Zach and Archer(A.J.)

The middle girls- Challis, Jessica and Katie

After that Brittany head back to college and we played basketball again. Everyone got a turn to shoot. They had a game of cousins against Uncles, or that is how it turned out. Trevor and Garrett had me shoot a bunch of continual shoots to show them dunking the ball.

Uncle Eric took all the cousins on a motorcycle ride. They LOVED it. Every one of them got off with a huge smile and of course wanted to go again. Even the big boys got or took a ride.

Reunion,the fourth

On the fourth, when the sun was thinking of going BBQ was all cleaned up, we decided that the children had waited long enough and started the festivities. First, with the day time ones- smoke bombs, snakes and a few others. Bubbles were a must. My brothers dog, Bailey, loves bubbles and would jump up in the air to get them. Eric would blow bubbles on one side for A.J. and on the other for Bailey, Bailey kept jumping for all the bubbles and almost taking out A.J.

We had root beer floats and/or cobbler with ice-cream for our firework snack.

Trent and his kaboom fireworks. He was spacing them out so no one would be able to trace the sound but then a neighbor had some and it was a show after that.
It was a pleasant night. The children loved to do sparklers again. Even Morgan did one with Daddy's help, although she just really wanted to do it by herself. A few of the older cousins even did 5 or so morning glories at a time. Challis's face was priceless- a big never ending smile while she did her handful of glories. We could even see the city fireworks while sitting in the driveway. The children were in bed by 11 p.m. and it was a success full evening!
A practically perfect Fourth of July.

Reunion again-

Friday Night after the Pictures-

Saturday, the Fourth of July
The guys went golfing, plus our cousin Randy Cox. We finished up the cousin t-shirts, made balloon animals, and just played. When the guys got home the older girls ran to the store and got a few more sparklers and small fireworks. Trent had brought the large, kaboom, fireworks. The sisters and Hailey went to the Quilted Bear for a little girl time that afternoon as well. Randy's family joined us for the afternoon and dinner. Garrett played soccer with A.J. and Grace took a few pictures with Aunt Cathy's help.
After dinner we played, waited and waited for it to almost be dark to start the festivities!

Cox Family Reunion 2009-

- Jan Cox Family Reunion July 2-5, 2009-

It was held at Eric and Cathy's home in Farr West, Utah. We arrived Thursday evening, July 2nd, in time for dinner, a bit of playing and then bed. Bushka and Grandpa (Papa) got there Wednesday to help get things chopped, set up and ready. Trent and Brittany got there Wednesday night. Friday Jeff and Merri and crew got there and so we began to reunion. It was so much fun to have all 19 of us in one location for a few days. It is never long enough to visit, play and enjoy each other.

Friday, we decorated cousin shirts and bags.
Enjoyed time together.

While the guys golfed, of course.

Relaxed and waited for our AZ fam. to arrive.

Seriously the children would go out front and play for a while waiting for their van to show up around the corner. They did it at least every hour if not more once the afternoon hit. It was fun watching them be so excited to see their cousins/family. Every time we would hear a car they would race out front until the actual time it was them... we were inside by then.

Of course we had to have family photos so at 7:30 p.m. we were off to be photographed. Here are a few of the pictures I took... I can't wait to see what the photographer got- they should be fabulous, it is our family we are talking about.

The pictures went well besides the fact that Morgan wouldn't be in any of the cousin pictures and Grace and A.J. were pretty tired but other than that they went of well.
After pictures we went back to the house and did a few fireworks. Sparklers, flowers and more sparklers. We also did bubbles, played basketball, and just enjoyed each other.

New Camera

I finally got my new camera. I have saved up for it several times but finally broke down and got it. I got a Canon Rebel xsi, not the exact camera I wanted but the price was hard to beat. So for my first one I thought it would be just great. I love it and had tons of fun with it at the reunion. Here are the first photo's I took with it.
Morgan sticking out her tongue.
Katie in her morning glory.
Our boy showing off his muscles.
I love this one, the love of siblings. What I love is the movement you see them doing. It is not blurry just like slow motion. They both wanted the same thing, like normal.
