Trevor is now...

Thirty Five... the big 3-5.

We made our cards. this is one from all of the children. Their hands and some writing of their names.

Presents from the children. They each had a home made card, a present they picked out and something I had for them to give him. Katie's card even brought tears to his eyes. I love that!!!
Morgan: a black sweater vest and movie
Zach: a level and the original Star Wars trilogy
Jason: the Star Wars trilogy
Katie: Goo Gone and The Cosby first season DVDs.

They were all excited for Trevor to open their gifts. The excitement they have is contagious and wonderful. We had subway for lunch, Trevor's choice. That night we had an Elders quorum party, bowling, where we had cake.
A successful birthday in my book... We had a ham dinner a few nights later in honor of his b-day.
I love you Trevor and am so happy you made it to 35. I know you didn't want to turn 35 and getting older is not a fun choice but I sure don't want the alternative. So lets just keep aging together and enjoy the milestones of the years to come.

Jason 4 months

Four Months Old

Four months looks like:
weight - 14 lb 4 oz
height - 25 1/2 "
head - 42.5 cm
He laughs, smiles, grabs at things, loves to put his hands in his mouth, puts anything he grabs in his mouth, can roll over from his stomach to back, makes bubbles and started put his lips together and blow air out to make a spitting noise, and he loves to be where the action is.

1st cereal

Jason loved his cereal.

I have to say that after a week his system wasn't liking it anymore so we have stopped... we will give him a little while longer before do start cereal again. Maybe at 5 months or maybe at 6. To be determined later.

taken a few days before he turned 4 months. January 12th.

New Years trip tp Boise

!!!Happy New Years!!!
We counted down the New Year's with the children at 10:00 p.m. and adults again at midnight.

We celebrated the occasion with our adopted family, the Halls. We drove through snow with a bunch of texts from Jen to her mom so she wouldn't freak out about the road condition, and a little boy who almost didn't make it to the bathroom to spend this night with them. It was worth it all. We had pizza, hung out and mostly talked, talked talked.
The children went to bed just after our New Years toast...

our drink of choice
Trevor and Ed soaked in the hot tub, Cobie joined them for a bit but due to Jason... I stayed in side.
Friday, the 1st
We slept in, picked up Grandma Sara and headed to the mall for returns and lunch.

It was fun to have time with Grandma. That night the children went to Grandma's to play and Trevor and I went to dinner with friends.

Dinner - The Cheese Cake Factory Friends - Todd and Susan Hanson/ Ed and Cobie Hall
Definitely a have to good again and again. Red velvet cheese cake... a repeat is necessary.
It was so fun to see Trevor laughing with his friends, just for that it was worth it. Not to mention my fun chatting with the crew.

Saturday

We had lunch with Bob and Julee with their two at Grandma Sara's appt. The cousins played and played and played. I was tired from watching.

It was nice to see them. I enjoy visiting with family.

Then after some debate, of to stay or go, we headed back to Burley. With the roads clear it was an easy drive.

Ricks stop by

Stephaine's family stopped by for dinner on their way to Rexburg for the New Year's Eve weekend. We love when they go to Shane's parents... they always stop by.Violet had to have the hood up on her kitty jacket.

Stephanie and Violet

Lily and Jason
Jessica and the others just disappeared on played besides when they were eating.

holding hands

Jason fell asleep on the couch one morning like this so I HAD to capture it.
