A favorite thing to do was to walk down to the river.
The children would get their feet wet, throw rocks and just enjoy the water.
They would hold up their shorts so they didn't get wet and it was just to funny.
On a trip to the bathroom we grabbed these shots
right outside the bathrooms.Saturday Morning we drove into Hagerman and checked out the Fossil exhibit. Dug up some fossils at the sand table, watched a movie about the Hagerman Fossil Beds and did some origami. We then drove to see the alligators.

They went swimming again that night with some of the older cousins.
Zach learned that briquettes are very hot. He burned these two fingers after touching the briquettes on top of the dutch oven desserts.
We rubbed some Basic H on them and not a blister could be found.

We had a spiritual thought each night with games to follow. The funniest one was where some one in the middle, who had on the blindfold, would get spun around and then would point to a spot, at some one. The pointer would then say an animal name and the person being pointed at would have to make the sound in a manner that they couldn't guess who it was.
It was HILARIOUS!!! a definatley have to play again game.

It was such a wonderful weekend and we absolutley loved all of it. I am so grateful that we have these opportunities to be with family, to make memories together and to have stronger friendships because of it.
This is one of the best family traditions we have, atleast I think so.
