Jason's Blessing Day

Jason was blesses on Sunday November 1, 2009.
We was blessed by his father. It was a wonderful blessing. I love hearing the things promised to a spirit so young if they but choose the right.

With his Aunts.
with Bushka and Papa.

I loved having family here to celebrate this bundle of joy with us. We had yummy food, lots of talking and enjoyed every minute of it.
Thank you Trevor and all those men who stood in the circle for honoring your Priesthood. I loved seeing all of you up there able to participate in such a wonderful thing.

Thank you Dad Irish and Lesley for the beautiful blanket and blessing outfit. Both items were perfect.

More pictures to come of Jason in his outfit with his blanket.

Jason's first halloween

FIRST HALLOWEEN
Thanks to Aunt Cathy Jason was a Giraffe for his first Halloween. It was so cute especially the back side. I do have to say that this the cutest giraffe ever to be in the history of giraffes.

After seeing the pictures I am right, the cutest giraffe ever!

Halloween 2009

We had Bushka and Papa ,Eric and Cathy and their children here for Halloween. It was so much fun. Brains, monster fingers and blood dip for dinner. (a.k.a. spaghetti and butter dips) The guys worked on the house some. The cousins played and we all just enjoyed being together. After dinner we raced out the door to the trunk-or-treat at the church.
This year the children were - Jessica - a dead basketball player; Katie -a tiger; Zach -a pirate; Morgan -a cheetah; Jason -a giraffe. (the next blog has him in his costume) Brittany- 80's girl; Garrett - a pirate hostage.

At the trunk-or-treat Brittany took Morgan around as we all went in a group. Garrett took Zach to a spooky walking path with colored lights twice, Zach loved it!

Bushka and Garrett handed out candy.

Our friends dog.
After the trunk-or-treat we did some door to door trick-or-treating. It was a fun night.
Another Halloween successfully dressed up for, candy filled and smiled out.
Life is good!
The guys stayed home from the trunk-or-treat to finish working on the house, to watch football and stay with Jason.

Thank you-

I am quite a bit younger than my brothers. Growing up I always hoped my children would have cousins their age on both sides. Trevor's side is so problem but mine with the age gap... well I have to say that I am glad we do. I am also glad for these older cousins (Hailey and Challis not shown :( ) who have been wonderful. When they are around they play with my children, they love them and enjoy their younger cousins.
So Thank you for:
loving my children, watching movies with them, making string traps and such, for making such great choices, being wonderful examples, for being you! Your Irish cousins love you, look up to you and can never wait to see you.
Thank You Thank You Thank You
believe it or not you are an answer to prays and a gift from above.
You help make parenting a little bit easier!

Just wanted you to know that moments like these don't go unnoticed, unappreciated and will not be forgotten.

just cause

Here are Morgan and Zach with toys from their Happy Meals. I was a sucker that day, it was worth the happiness in the car while I got a few things done.

Here is Jason just being so sweet...

Hair

Here is my hair from white, to gray, to brown... Hair is so fun, and hey, it always grows!
