Pumpking Patch

Our annual trip to the PUMPKIN PATCH. We, of course, went to the field to pick our pumpkins. This year Katie pushed her own wheel barrow and picked out and up most of the pumpkins. Zach and Morgan loved riding in the wheelbarrows and just walking in the fields. It is so much fun that my parents suggested we go while they were here, they loved it last year. I love that we can go and pick our pumpkins out of the field, see where they grow and get cute pictures too. Not to mention they are a really really good price and the experience is worth every penny and more.

Zach's birthday

His birthday was wonderful. He got to have sugar with breakfast. After school Bushka and Papa were here, thank goodness they were going to Utah and stopped here first. When his dad picked him up from preschool he told him, "Dad, you haven't wished me a happy birthday." Trevor of course then had to wait to wish him a happy birthday until after lunch. We got pizza for lunch, both pepperoni and sausage... Zach's top two pizzas. When Katie got home, from school, we did presents from the grandparents and then headed to the pumpkin patch. After the patch we went to the Upper Crust for dinner, Zach's choice. He got their yummy birthday dessert and the cheese hat was a must. We came home and did our gifts, played for a little bit and then to bed.

I can't imagine life with out Zach. He is so loving and I can't believe he is five. Thank you Zach for being you and for your hugs and kisses. We love Zach for his knowing what he wants with food and otherwise, his all consuming smile, his dancing skills, his love for ropes and things that light up, that he always wants pizza, chicken nuggets or a hamburger with just ketchup and fries and that he loves his family. Our family would be empty with out you Zach!

Sleeping

Jason was sleeping today and I thought it was so cute. He had his pacifier in his mouth and was holding on to it, in the first picture. Several pictures later he had moved his hand to cover more of his face, I think he was telling me to stop with the flash already!

Sunday Snow

October 4, 2009

Sunday we woke up to snow. During the morning session of General Conference we lost power. After going upstairs to check out the situation, Trevor found this beautiful branch, from our tree, in the street. So out came the chain saw, the warm winter clothes, smiles (from the children), and a few snow balls.

The children had a blast in the snow. Kassidy, our friend in the brown coat, came over and played for a while with us. It snowed almost all day. Zach loved looking out his bedroom window to see the snow coming down. The only bad thing about trees with all their leaves and wet snow... branches fall off. This one had a few side kicks with one of them landing on our, across the street, neighbors car, they got a new windshield.

What a fun Sunday.

Perfect and Priceless

I have the best of friends. My awesome, spectacular, wonderful, gracious and talented friend Emily came to the hospital with her friend, Canon 50d. She took photos and here are four of them. I loved all of the pictures she took. These are just a taste of what was captured.
Thank you Emily... you are very talented and wonderful to do this for us.
The pictures are PERFECT and PRICELESS!

Monkey feet

This outfit is just so cute. Jason will probably only get a few wears out of it since it just fit at a week old. I love the monkey feet.
