11: 13 a.m.

Head - 38 cm

Went to the hospital at 7:30 a.m. for my induction. Got all hooked up and was started on the ivy at about 8:30. Around 10:00 a.m. had my epidural and was ready to go. Had another dose for the epidural a little while later. The epidural was wearing off on my right side when I was starting to have my almost done contractions. I had told the nurse that when I go, I go fast so when I hit a six she started to get everything ready for the delivery. She called the doctor to tell him my progress. He too remembered that I went fast so he left his office got changed and was there. He wasn't a minute too soon. He came into the room got a few things ready and I told them I was ready to push. I pushed four times and at 11:13 a.m.our little bundle of joy was here. They got him all cleaned up, did the baby is born items of business and then I got to hold him. He is perfect. When they were doing the nursing business Jason held Trevor's finger. Trevor then became the photographer and all was well. When the nurses measured his head they told me I should get a metal. When Trevor finally got to hold Jason, he got teared up as they had their moment together.
I am glad that I can hold him in my arms, that he has a name and that he is ours. All the pain, waiting, tearing, getting big and doctor exams are worth every bit of it when you hold an infant in your arms and know they are yours. He is ours to raise, teach and to love.

The Doctor says

that he thinks I won't make it to my due date. The babies heart beat was 135 today, blood pressure great and weight even went down, a miracle for me. I am dialated to a four, yes a four. I have never hit a four and not been in labor. I am pretty much the same for the rest of it, so time will tell. At the end of my visit he was talking about my next appointment and after that we could schedule an induction and then he added that he didn't think I would make it. I responded that I would probably see him. Dr. Jeppson then asked if we should talk induction now, my response... any day will work. So if I don't go into labor on my own by Monday then I will be induced. I only have to wait four more days to see my baby and hold him in my arms, but who is counting.

Tonight

I was checking the blog and Trevor was on the couch beside me doing notes for work. He stopped and started looking at the blog. We had to go back through the last year and look at it. So while he wrote his notes I would read him the blog enteries he wanted to hear. It is funny because he always makes fun of me and the blogging thing yet he loved that the memories were remembered. I am glad that I blog too, other wise I would have forgotten most of these moments in our lives.

The Doctor says

that I am progressing. The babies heart beat was 155. I am dialated to a 2-3, effaced 75% and the head is down. So, I am still a walking time boom. I am doing great and all is going well. So we will just take each day as it comes and wait for this baby the join our family.

When oh when

am I going to HAVE THIS BABY.
Trevor has informed me that I shouldn't have the baby until after this weekend, homework.
My Grandma has fallen and broken her leg, so I need to wait until next week so they can get that all worked out.
Eric and Cathy are going to Boise to visit and I don't want to take away from their time up there with Mom and Dad.
So I guess this baby can come next week.
Well except for Tuesday, Zach's first day of preschool, at least don't go into labor until after he is home.
But other than that this baby can come anytime.
In all reality this baby can come when ever he wants and it will be perfectly fine. I am just getting excited to see his face and to hold him. (and to have a name decided)
Bending over, walking normal, seeing my ankles, wearing "normal" clothes, being able to roll over in bed, getting off the couch without a crane and being heart burn free are a few other perks to look forward to. (l.o.l.)
So bring on this baby and bring on the joy of one more!
